About Us
Our History

Kenge Content Hive is a youth-led organization founded in 2020, working with communities in the Lake Victoria Basin of Busia County.

Our work began from a simple reality: communities are facing environmental degradation, loss of knowledge systems, and limited spaces for dialogue across generations. At the same time, many of the solutions already exist within communities—but are often overlooked.

Since then, we have worked alongside communities to create spaces for dialogue, support environmental restoration, and reconnect people with knowledge systems through practical, locally grounded action.

Our Vision

Communities that are connected, self-determined, and actively shaping resilient and sustainable futures.

Where We Are Headed.

We are working to strengthen community-led approaches that bring together dialogue, knowledge systems, and practical action. Our focus is to expand spaces like village barazas, scale regeneration efforts, and support youth-led initiatives that respond to real community challenges and lead to attainment of sustainable development goals.
